Introduction

Auto Call Scheduler & Reminder (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we handle your data when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally

Auto Call Scheduler stores the following information locally on your device:

  • Scheduled call information, including contact names, phone numbers, dates, and times
  • Call reminders and notifications
  • Notes associated with scheduled calls
  • IVR codes for automated navigation
  • App settings and preferences
  • Backup data (if you create backups)

Signing in is not required to use the app. If you do not sign in, all your data remains stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Account Information (Optional Sign-In)

If you choose to sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect the following information from your Google account:

  • Email address: Used to identify your account
  • Display name: Used to personalize your experience
  • Profile picture: Used to display your avatar within the app

Cloud-Synced Data (Signed-In Users Only)

If you sign in, the following data is also stored on our cloud servers to enable synchronization across your devices:

  • Your call schedules and associated contact information
  • App preferences and settings
  • Subscription status
  • Device information (device name and operating system version) to identify your devices for sync purposes

This data is only collected and synced when you are signed in. You may sign out at any time to stop cloud synchronization. Signing out does not automatically delete data already stored on our servers. See the Data Deletion section for how to request removal.

Usage & Diagnostic Data

We may collect anonymized data to help improve app performance and stability:

  • Crash and error reports: Device model, OS version, and error logs
  • Usage analytics: Anonymized app usage statistics
  • Device information: Device model, OS version, and app version

This data is anonymized and does not personally identify you.

AI Schedule Assistant Data (Signed-In Users Only)

If you use the AI Schedule Assistant (a beta feature that requires signing in), we collect:

  • Your conversation content: the messages you type and the responses you receive
  • Basic device context: your phone brand, model, and Android version, used to give accurate setup guidance
  • A device identifier: used only to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. We do not link it to your identity or use it for advertising

Permissions Required

The app requires the following permissions to function properly:

Core Permissions

  • SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Draw over other apps): To display floating overlay during calls
  • READ_PHONE_STATE: To detect call state (ringing, answered, ended)
  • READ_CALL_LOG: To monitor call events and support call-related features
  • CALL_PHONE: To initiate scheduled calls automatically
  • USE_EXACT_ALARM: To schedule and trigger calls or reminders at precise times

Optional Permissions

  • Contacts Access: To select contacts for scheduling (optional)
  • Notifications: To send call reminders
  • Storage: To backup and restore your data

Why We Use These Permissions

  • Call Detection: To monitor call state and display helpful information during phone calls
  • Overlay Service: To show an interactive floating widget during phone calls with notes and actions
  • Alarms: To schedule and trigger calls or reminders at precise times
  • Call Automation: To initiate scheduled calls at the specified time

Important: We never access other private data, make calls on your behalf without your explicit scheduling, or share this data externally.

Foreground Service Disclosure

We use a foreground service with type specialUseCase:

  • Purpose: To display an interactive floating overlay during phone calls
  • Functionality: Shows helpful UI elements (notes, call information) when you’re already on a call
  • Transparency: A notification is always visible while the service is running, so you’re always aware it’s active
  • Control: You can disable the service or floating widget anytime via the app settings
  • Limitation: This service does not place or manage calls, it only displays helpful UI during existing calls

AI Schedule Assistant (Beta)

The AI Schedule Assistant is an optional beta feature that helps you set up and troubleshoot scheduled calls through a chat conversation. Signing in is required to use it. Here’s how your data is handled:

  • AI responses: The messages you type are processed by Google’s AI to generate helpful answers. We also share basic device context (your phone brand, model, and Android version) so the guidance matches your device.
  • Conversation storage: Your conversations are stored on our cloud servers so they remain available across your sessions and devices.
  • Human review (on request): You can ask for a human to review your conversation. If you do, a member of our support team can read that conversation and your device context to help you.
  • Usage limits and abuse prevention: We limit usage per device to prevent abuse. This relies on a device identifier that we do not link to your identity or use for advertising.

Important beta notice: The assistant is provided for convenience and may produce inaccurate or incomplete answers. It does not provide professional, legal, or emergency advice. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information in the chat, and verify any important instructions before relying on them.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely for:

  • Scheduling and executing automated calls at specified times
  • Displaying call reminders and notifications
  • Managing your call schedule and recurring calls
  • Showing contextual information during active calls
  • Creating and restoring backups of your data
  • Sending IVR codes during calls for automated navigation
  • Synchronizing your schedules and preferences across your devices (signed-in users only)
  • Powering the AI Schedule Assistant and, when you request it, human support review (signed-in users only)
  • Applying usage limits and preventing abuse of the AI Schedule Assistant

Data Storage and Security

  • If you are not signed in, all your data is stored exclusively on your device and never leaves it
  • If you are signed in, your account information, schedules, preferences, and subscription status are additionally stored on our secure cloud servers
  • Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit
  • We use industry-standard technical and administrative controls to protect your data
  • Backup files are stored locally or in your chosen backup location

Security Disclaimer: While we implement security measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute data security, though we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Sign-In: For user authentication (optional)
  • Google Firebase: For cloud data storage and synchronization, crash and error reporting, usage analytics, remote configuration, and to power the AI Schedule Assistant (processing your chat messages to generate responses). For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy
  • Google Mobile Ads SDK: To display advertisements (if ads are enabled)
  • RevenueCat: For subscription management and purchase validation. For more information, see RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy
  • Paddle: Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as our authorized reseller and merchant of record for purchases made on autocallscheduler.com. When you buy here, Paddle collects and processes your email address, billing details, and payment information as an independent controller of that data. We never receive or store your card details.   • Google Play Services: For app distribution and updates
  • Android System Services: For call and notification functionality

These services may collect data as described in their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. When you sign in with Google, your basic profile information (email, name, profile picture) is shared between Google and our servers to provide authentication and account services. If you use cloud sync, your schedule data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure to provide the synchronization service. If you use the AI Schedule Assistant, your chat messages are processed by Google’s AI to generate responses, and only if you request human review can a member of our support team read that conversation to assist you. Anonymized diagnostic and usage data may be shared with service providers to support analytics and crash reporting.

If you buy Auto Call Scheduler Pro on autocallscheduler.com, the email address and payment details you enter at checkout are collected and processed by Paddle as merchant of record, and the resulting subscription is recorded by RevenueCat. We never receive or store your card details. We never sell this data, and none of it is used for advertising.

Data Retention

  • Your data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services
  • If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data from our active systems within 30 days
  • Backup copies may persist in our systems for up to 180 days before permanent removal
  • Crash reports and analytics data are retained for up to 90 days
  • AI Schedule Assistant conversations are retained while your account is active and are removed within 30 days of an account deletion request
  • Local data on your device is retained until you uninstall the app or clear app data

Some information is kept after an account is deleted, and only for the reasons below:

  • Purchase and billing records are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires
  • Records of promotional credit grants are retained to prevent abuse of free credits
  • Aggregate usage statistics are retained. These are counts only and cannot be linked back to any individual

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data (stored locally on your device and, if signed in, on our servers)
  • Delete your local data (by uninstalling the app or clearing app data)
  • Delete your account and all server-side data, from the account screen in the app or by request (see Data Deletion section below)
  • Export your data (using the backup feature)
  • Disconnect your Google account from our service
  • Control app permissions through your device settings
  • Disable the foreground service or overlay feature
  • Opt out of promotional email communications at any time

Communications

If you sign in and provide your email address, we may use it to send you important service-related messages such as security alerts, account notifications, or changes to our terms. These messages are necessary for your account and cannot be opted out of.

With your explicit consent, we may also send you emails about product updates, tips, and promotional offers. You can opt in during sign-in or change your preference at any time from your account screen within the app. You may also unsubscribe by clicking the link included in every promotional email. Withdrawing consent does not affect any communications sent prior to withdrawal.

We detect your country using your device’s SIM card or locale settings to determine whether explicit opt-in consent is required under applicable laws (such as GDPR in the EU/EEA/UK or CASL in Canada). This detected country code is stored alongside your consent preference for compliance record-keeping.

International Data Transfers

If you use cloud synchronization, your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. We rely on our service providers’ data protection mechanisms to safeguard your information during such transfers.

Children’s Privacy

Auto Call Scheduler & Reminder is designed for general use and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any major changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed.

Data Deletion

Local Data

To delete your locally stored data:

  1. Open the app settings
  2. Select “Clear All Data” or use the backup/restore feature to delete backups
  3. Alternatively, uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data from your device

Account and Server Data

If you have the app installed, open Account from the menu and choose Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm, and your request is recorded immediately.

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] and ask for your account to be deleted. We will verify that you own the address before acting on the request.

Either way, we permanently remove all associated server-side data within 30 days: your account information, synced schedules, preferences, subscription data, survey answers, and AI Schedule Assistant and support conversations. Until the request is carried out you can cancel it by signing in again.

Two things are worth knowing before you start:

  • Deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. You must cancel that separately in Google Play, or you will keep being charged.
  • Data stored on your phone is not deleted. Your schedules stay on the device and the app keeps working. To remove them, clear the app data or uninstall the app.
